With the needs of African users in mind, over the initial plan of the team, the Centiiv team is happy to announce that the new total supply of Centiiv ($CNT) token is 100,000,000 as against the initial total supply of 5,000,000. The deployment of these units of the token is a response to the concerns raised by most members of the Centiiv community that the previous units of Centiiv tokens deployed is limited. These concerns proved that the limited number of token deployed will cause scarcity and such scarcity will make the Centiiv token elitist, which will make it difficult if not impossible for the ordinary man on the street. Considering the fact that we hold our community in high esteem, we had to redeploy our token with an increased Total Supply (TS) of 100million. Hence, holders of the current initial version of the token would be required to swap for the new token with an equal redistribution modal.
This is very big for the Centiiv team as the team is optimistic that this new development will help the Centiiv project accommodate more Africans in her community and as a result make it easier for the team to achieve her lofty dream of connecting Africa to the rest of the world using Blockchain.
Community members are to be rest assured that beyond deploying more units of the Centiiv token, nothing really changed about the Centiiv project and how community members can relate with it as the Centiiv token remains on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
